I recently learned that our older daughter, whom I've always known as Anastasia, has changed her name. I'd like to introduce you to.......Annie! A boy at school called her Annie one day in class, and apparently it stuck.
Our "Annie" is natural artist. She has an eye for all things beautiful, as you can see by her latest posting, demonstrating her photography skills.

Cool!!! Now i know three people with the name "Annie"! It's so cute! I love her pics! Very beautiful!!
A bubbly, happy name just perfect for your American daughter :-)
Although we're American w/no Russian roots, we named our eldest Katerina--and call her Katya. How surprised I was to find out that she's called "Kate"--at her RUSSIAN elementary school!
I like all her names - Nastya, Anastasia and Annie! She's one beautiful and talented girl!
And the picture of Annie with Dad is priceless!
I love this picture of you and Annie. I thought something was up when her comments were saying Annie... too cute. She is just adorable and she is going to go far. She is a great Christian young lady and God is going to use her in many ways for His glory!
She looks like an Annie.
Of course my "real" name (the name my family always called me, and calls me) is Annie. But when I was in school, because I studied, and was so crazy about everything Russian (I started studying Russian when I was 12!) the kids in school started calling me Anya.
LOVE the name Annie!!
